With more than 800 exhibitors signed up for PRINTING United 2024, which runs Sept. 10-12, 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the printing industry is ready to see the latest in new technologies. In addition to equipment and software providers, ink industry leaders will be showcasing their latest products while also meeting with attendees. Mark J. Subers, president – events and exhibitions, PRINTING United Alliance, said that PRINTING United 2024 is shaping up to be an incredible event, with several major highlights that he believes will leave a lasting impact on attendees. “First and foremost, the sheer diversity of exhibitors is impressive,” Subers said. “We have over 800 global companies representing every market segment of the printing industry, showcasing the latest advancements in technology, materials, and processes. The Expo is known for its comprehensive display of innovations, and this year will be no exception, with groundbreaking technologies in digital printing, packaging, and industrial applications taking center stage. Subers added that many people are coining this year’s Expo as “the North American drupa” since there will be so many products and technologies being shown on North America for the very first time – with others never seen before in addition. Subers also reported that educational programming will be a significant highlight at PRINTING United 2024. “We’ve curated a series of over 50 sessions that focus on the most pressing issues and opportunities in the industry today, from sustainability and supply chain challenges to the latest trends in digital transformation, automation, AI, workforce development, and more,” Subers observed. “These sessions are designed to provide actionable insights that attendees can take back to their businesses.” Subers said that there any several new features for PRINTING United 2024 that he’s particularly excited about, adding that one of the standout additions is the enhanced Knowledge Center, which will serve as a hub for learning and engagement on the show floor. “This space will host interactive forums and roundtables where industry experts can dive deep into key topics, offering attendees a more immersive learning experience, and meet with our global media and association partners, like Label & Narrow Web,” said Subers. “We’re proud of our interactive experiences on the show floor, such as the Apparel Zone and PDAA Zone,” Subers said. “Also not to be missed are a variety of Women in Print Alliance events, including a Las Vegas Dine-Around, special luncheon, meet-ups at the Women in Print Alliance host hotel, and more. “We’re also introducing our PRINTING United AFTER Dark VIP experience program, for those looking forward to taking their networking to the next level,” Subers concluded. “This series of evening events will provide more opportunities for attendees to network in a relaxed, social environment. It’s a great way to continue the conversations started during the day and build lasting relationships. These events foster a sense of community that is unique to PRINTING United.” Subers noted that PRINTING United continues to experience robust growth, both in terms of exhibitors and pre-registration. “This year, we’re proud to host over 800 exhibitors, which is a testament to the value that companies see in participating in this event,” Subers reported. “The growth is particularly strong in areas like packaging and industrial printing, reflecting the expanding interest and innovation in these sectors. “Pre-registration numbers are also very encouraging, indicating that the industry is eager to come together after what has been a transformative few years,” he added. “We’re seeing significant interest from a broad range of professionals, including those from label and narrow web sectors, who are keen to explore the latest technologies and trends. This growth underscores the importance of PRINTING United as a must-attend event for anyone involved in printing and graphic arts.” Subers said his expectations for this year’s Expo are very high. “Given the momentum we’ve seen in the lead-up to the event, I anticipate a record turnout and an incredibly dynamic show floor. I expect attendees to be impressed by the breadth of technologies on display and the quality of the educational sessions,” said Subers. “One of my key expectations is that attendees will leave the event with new ideas, solutions, and connections that will drive their businesses forward,” he added. “PRINTING United Expo has always been about more than just seeing the latest equipment; it’s about understanding how these advancements can be applied to meet the evolving needs of the market. I’m confident that this year’s Expo will deliver on that promise in a big way.” Exhibitors are definitely looking forward to PRINTING United.
